Our Chef
Hi I'm Dave Brooks, I'm a Capricorn and like to make bread,
cook
and eat food. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to cook on the surface of
Mars...yeah I'm intrigued by cryo-cooking.
All joking aside, I'm not really a Swedish Chef, I'm
actually an Army brat that spent a good chunk of my adolescence living in
Germany. I have a dog that eats my furniture but not my food and a family full
of misfits. Often times people confuse me with Dave Matthews which is probably
why I started cooking. To be honest I began my career with the New Haven staple,
Rudy's Bar & Grille. From there I left for The Culinary Institute of America were I honed
my skills. Eventually I met a sassy lass named Judie who owned a bakery in Short
Beach, Branford. That was 14 years ago and today we continue to make quality
products using only the finest ingredients the same way she did. My mission is
to bring amazing food to you.
